The highly evolved design of the J117 Dragonfly II allows the pack to easily convert from a 2,800 cubic inch daypack to a heavy freight hauler with over 5,000 cubic inches of space available for my entire camp as well as my half of a sheep or buck deer. The tubular aluminum frame along with the highly adjustable suspension system allows for a comfortable ride even with heavy loads on a very unconventionally shaped torso such as mine. One thing to always remember, aluminum will often bend, but seldom breaks. For an ultralight jaunt from camp, the removable top-pack converts into a hydration-ready fanny pack.
