Kryptek Arma Hoodie Review

THE LAYER
Kryptek’s most premium line of products started in their original Altitude Series years ago, and they are made from the most premium materials on the planet.
One of the shining stars in this lineup is the Arma Hoodie. This piece is more than just a simple hoodie! The Arma includes a full-length zipper, two front-zippered hand pockets, a zippered bicep pocket for accessories and a two-point adjustable/articulated hood.
This mid-layer is a body-mapped mix of merino wool, polyester and spandex Silvadur™ antimicrobial material for supreme fit and breathability while still retaining body heat when used with other layers in a layering system. The inside has a thin, micro-grid fleece backing with the exception of under the armpit area where a thinner stretch fabric is utilized for mobility and heat management.
The Arma Hoodie works amazingly well over a thin base layer during the early season and is a key piece in a mid-to-late-season system to utilize warm, yet breathable characteristics for supreme comfort in a wide variety of conditions. A system including base layer, Arma hoodie, puffy vest and rain jacket will take you through most conditions.
