The Kenetrek Bridger High is the newest addition to Kenetrek’s line of boots. If the Bridger name sounds familiar, it’s because Kenetrek launched their lightweight Bridger line several years ago and now have revamped them, beginning with the Bridger Low redesign two years ago.
The redesigned Bridger High is one of those pieces of footwear that excel at “bridging” the gap between lightweight footwear and stiff mountain boots – my favorite style of boots on the market today.
The Bridger High is a 7” boot with lace-to-toe features and ample ankle support via the Kenetrek K-Straps. Kenetrek’s Windtex waterproof and breathable membrane help keep your feet dry, too.
Probably my favorite features in all Kenetrek boots are the Kenetrek Supportive Footbeds, eliminating the need to buy aftermarket footbeds to keep you comfortable on all day hikes in the backcountry.
The Bridger Highs come in standard and wide lasts. I tested the standard which worked well for my narrow feet.
The Bridger Highs weigh 2.9 lbs. and are $335 at www.kenetrek.com.
