With the crumbs from Christmas dinner still on the table it is hard to imagine loading the packs and heading back into the highcountry in pursuit of a 2026 bull, but that’s where we are at. Each year Arizona helps kickoff application season with their January opening of the elk and pronghorn draws.
The State recently released the 2026 regulation booklet for both species and as a bonus, it was released earlier than normal, giving hunters an extra week to prepare for the February draw deadline. The Department is yet to open the draw website, so stay tuned to find out when you can digitally drop the application in the box.
