More Elk Hunting Access In Wyoming!

“A collaborative effort between RMEF, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department and a vested ranching family now allows greater public hunting access to elk in Wyoming’s Elk Hunt Area 7 between Casper and Laramie, an area with an ever-growing elk population.”

I told you that I’d keep you folks up to date on access to elk hunting in central and eastern Wyoming so here you go… thanks to RMEF, Wyoming Game and Fish and a private landowner there are now 6,600 more acres for the public to hunt elk on in famed Area 7.

Visit the Wyoming Game and Fish Department website for detailed access information. It is unclear if the “unlimited elk tags” I wrote about recently will apply for this property but a quick call to WYGFD will clear that up for you.

This is an excellent opportunity for folks looking to put some meat in the freezer and possibly a nice set of antlers on the wall while making memories and helping the State of Wyoming with a burgeoning elk population in the east/central region of the state.
