It’s that time again, time to plan your Colorado Hunts for next fall!  The application deadline is April 1st (8 p.m. Mountain Time) for 2025 and Colorado Parks and Wildlife has published the new 2025 Brochures to get you started.

Be sure to check-out the “What’s New: 2025” on the first page of both brochures to see the changes for this year.

And there are lots of other resources to help you plan your Colorado hunts:

  • Eastmans’ Bowhunting Journal Issue 148 will be arriving to our subscribers around the first week of March. This magazine contains the Members Research Section for Colorado with our: Article, Limited-Draw Spreadsheets and Trophy Forecast Maps for all big game species.
  • Eastmans’ TagHub: Provides additional details and a much more in-depth look than we can fit into the magazines.
  • Colorado Hunting Atlas: On the Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) website this map provides multiple layers of data for each species, GMU, etc., and is a great resource for hunt planning.
  • The CPW website also contains this info number (303-297-1192) which you can call and reach a professional Hunt Planner who can provide valuable info.
  • Forest Service: Occasionally, the Forest Service will close access roads due to winter conditions. This can easily conflict with some of the late fourth season hunts. Be sure to call the local Forest Service Office in the area you plan to hunt before you go.
