Congrats to Our 2015 EBJ Hunt Winner!

newsletter 8 15 EBJ hunt winner

And so it begins again, we are only four days from the start of the busiest season of the year in our office. Archery season for antelope is in full swing and I have heard rumors that some of the younger, immature bulls are starting to bugle. Rifle season for mule deer is only three weeks away in some areas of western Wyoming and I am excited to try my hand in the high country for one of the grey ghosts that fill all of our dreams.

When it comes to dreams, sometimes they do actually come true. In this case it sure did for our EBJ elk hunt winner, Chet Hailstone. Hunting has always been a huge passion for Chet. He wanted to thank his father and grandfather for introducing him to hunting at the young age of 6. He is a plumber in Utah and as it sometimes goes with the tough draw odds for hunting elk there he has never killed a big bull. Based on previous elk hunt winner success, my bet is that he will likely kill a very big bull.

He wanted to thank us for the hunt, but in my opinion we should be saying thank you to him. He has been a loyal subscriber since 2005 and we always have a great time sharing camp with hunt winners.  This is just one way we say thank you to all our loyal members. You are all the reason we are here helping you fulfill your dream of taking a trophy of a lifetime via the hunt drawing, the MRS research or the other information we provide in the magazines. We look forward to drawing the name of our hunt winners every year and hearing the shock and excitement in their voices.

I want to say thank you again and you never know, maybe you will be the one we are calling next August for the elk hunt or February for our EHJ mule deer hunt. See you in the field and I hope you get to RedLine the FUN meter this fall.
